Central Islip Pedestrian Fatally Hit by SUV

first_imgSign up for our COVID-19 newsletter to stay up-to-date on the latest coronavirus news throughout New York An unidentified man was struck and killed while walking across a street in Central Islip over the weekend.Suffolk County police said the pedestrian was crossing Route 111 north of Olive Street when he was hit by a northbound Acura MDX at 10:10 p.m. Sunday.The victim, who has not yet been identified, was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead.He is described as a Hispanic man, approximately 30 years old, 5-feet, 1-inch tall and between 165 and 170 pounds.The 39-year-old Brentwood man who was driving the SUV was not injured.Third Squad detectives impounded the vehicle for a safety inspection, are continuing the investigation and ask anyone with information about this crash to call them at 631-854-8352.last_img read more

The Club will receive a list of all successfully vetted.GV Forms are available from Child Protection Officer Máire Callaghan and from Bord na n-Óg, as the various teams get back to training.Gaeil Fhánada wish to emphasise that the safety and wellbeing of all our members is of the highest priority and we take our obligation to protect the wellbeing of our under-age members very seriously.
